Terms of Service

1. Overview

PayoffEdge (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the website payoffedge.com and the PayoffEdge application. By using PayoffEdge you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Not Financial Advice

PayoffEdge is a debt payoff planning tool, not a licensed financial advisor, credit counselor, debt relief service, or debt settlement company.

  • All calculations are estimates based solely on the information you enter. Results are not guaranteed and will differ from actual outcomes.
  • Nothing in PayoffEdge constitutes personalized financial, legal, tax, or credit advice. All output is mathematical modeling for educational purposes only.
  • You are solely responsible for your own financial decisions. Always consult a qualified financial professional before making major financial decisions.

3. Estimates and Accuracy

All debt-free dates, interest savings figures, and payoff projections displayed in PayoffEdge are estimates based on the balances, interest rates, minimum payments, and extra payment amounts you provide. Actual results depend on factors outside our control, including payment timing, interest rate changes, fees, and creditor policies. We make no guarantee of any specific financial outcome.

4. Subscription and Billing

  • Free trial. Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged until the trial period ends.
  • Pricing. Edge plan is $12/month. Edge Pro plan is $19/month. Prices are in USD and subject to change with notice.
  • Billing. Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file.
  • Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months.
  • Payment processing. All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your payment card information.

5. Your Data

  • All data you enter is encrypted in transit and at rest. We never sell your personal or financial data to third parties.
  • You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use PayoffEdge for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service or its output for redistribution.
  • Share your account credentials with others.

7. Service Provided As-Is

PayoffEdge is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PayoffEdge and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from reliance on calculations or AI coach responses.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in the app. Continued use of PayoffEdge after notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
